The layout signalling replicates the 1930s arrangement at Pontrilas....

Picture
Timber telegraph poles stand either side of Peter Squibb's scratchbuilt model of Pontrilas box. The build up is covered with a MRJ description in the magazine features page. It has a full interior, and in this view, the signalman's bicycle which was leaning on the end wall has fallen over, must be a windy day! Photo by Barry Norman.
